George Majewski is the founder of Contrast Product Development LLC. With 25+ years of experience in developing raw materials and formulations for the personal care/cosmetic industry Mr. Majewski believes that developing successful and competitive products requires realizing and adapting the latest technologies to enhance and maximize the end user experience. CPD is a consulting and basic research company specializing in advisement on formulation and product design. CPD is a catalyst for creating a point of difference early in the product development cycle with an end goal of producing consumer targeted innovation. CPD provides technical support and ideation for skin care, makeup and OTC drug product development.  

Prior to consulting Mr. Majewski held a position of Sr. Director of R&D, Innovation at Rodan + Fields, a leading premium skin care brand created by America’s most famous dermatologists – Dr. Katie Rodan and Dr. Kathy Fields.  Before working for a brand, Mr. Majewski directed Marketing and Sales at Resources of Nature Inc. During this time Mr. Majewski worked within a network of specialty cosmetic ingredient suppliers including Active Organics, Grant Industries, Lucas Meyer and Institute for Biotechnological Research to service many global skin care and color cosmetic consumer brands. This position provided Mr. Majewski with an opportunity for unencumbered creativity in designing proprietary and exclusive ingredients and formulations for his customers. He guided formulation and research efforts and managed the marketing of new technologies including phosphatidylglycerol nanosomes, peptides, phospholipids, water-coated silicones, perfluorocarbon applications, plant extractions, biologically-active mineral preparations and production of rare molecules via plant stem-cell culturing.  From many years of research and observation Mr. Majewski has developed a strong understanding how raw materials and formulated product interact with human skin and hair on both a physiological and sensorial level.  

Earlier in his career Mr. Majewski worked for several leading consumer product companies and raw material manufacturers including Schering-Plough Pharmaceuticals, International Specialty Products (formerly GAF), and Merck KGaA, a German multi-national chemical, pharmaceutical and life sciences company. Mr. Majewski started his career as a bench chemist and expanded his technical and business knowledge into pilot scale synthesis, product formulation and analytical chemistry to support new inventions and business-driven projects.

 
A northeastern native, Mr. Majewski holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Montclair State University and has participated in numerous industry–related continuing education programs and events. He is both a contributor and inventor on patents and cosmetic and dermatology journal publications. Mr. Majewski has been a member with the Society of Cosmetic Chemists for 20+ years. He and his wife now reside in the San Francisco Bay Area.
